Why The Origin Fund Exists
Grassroots music is the heart of the UK scene. We all know how tough it is to make it stick — gear breaks, travel costs bite, and everyday life gets in the way. Too many bands never get the chance to push further simply because money holds them back.
That’s why we built The Origin Fund. Not as charity. Not as a favour. But as a way of fuelling ambition, backing raw talent, and keeping the scene alive.
How It Works
- Every piece from The Origin Collection sends a share of profit directly into the fund.
- That money goes to grassroots UK bands in the form of small, direct grants.
- No strings attached on how it’s spent — whether it’s a new guitar, fixing a van, getting to gigs, or something else that helps you keep making noise, we trust you to know best.
We’ll be transparent about how much is raised, who’s supported, and what’s created from it.
For Bands
What You Get
If your band is chosen, you’ll receive a grant from The Origin Fund to give you the push you need.
What We Ask In Return
All we ask is that you give us a little love back:
- Wear some of our merch when you play (we’ll send it if you need it).
- Keep the Order of Outcasts logo somewhere visible when you’re on stage. (We’ll send you this too!)
- Drop a short shout-out mid-set, like:
“Big thanks to Order of Outcasts for making this possible — they’ve got some awesome gear online, and buying from them helps the next band get their shot too.” - Tag us in your gig posts on Instagram.
That’s it. No endless paperwork. No corporate nonsense. Just a fair trade: we help you rise, you help spread the word, and together the cycle keeps going.
